David Lynch, MD, PhD, is the director of the Friedreich’s Ataxia Program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He graduated from Yale College with a Bachelor of Science in molecular biophysics and biochemistry. He received his MD and PhD in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University. He was trained in neurology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he has been a faculty member for the past 31 years in neurology and pediatrics. His lab has worked on Friedreich’s ataxia for the past 26 years.
